Products
Our honey and beeswax products are made in small batches. Honey is a natural product, so colour, flavour, aroma, texture and crystallisation may vary between batches and from photographs. Crystallisation is natural and is not, by itself, a fault.
Product descriptions, weights, ingredients, allergens, storage guidance, best-before information and availability are provided on the product page, packaging or both. Please read them before ordering.
Ordering and the contract
Orders are placed through our SumUp online shop. An order acknowledgement does not necessarily mean an order has been accepted. A contract is formed when the order is accepted or dispatched. We may decline or cancel an order before dispatch if an item is unavailable, a price is clearly wrong, payment cannot be authorised or delivery cannot reasonably be completed. Any payment taken for a cancelled order will be refunded.
Prices and payment
The price and delivery charge shown at checkout apply to the order. Taxes are included where applicable. Payments are processed securely by SumUp; White House Honey Products does not store full payment-card details.
Delivery
We aim to dispatch within the period stated in the shop or order confirmation. Delivery dates are estimates unless expressly agreed otherwise. Please provide a complete and accurate address. Risk passes to you when the goods are delivered to you or a person you nominate.
Changing or cancelling an order
Contact us promptly if you need to change or cancel an order before dispatch. Once dispatched, your statutory distance-selling rights apply.
14-day cancellation right
For most standard goods purchased online, you may tell us within 14 days after delivery that you wish to cancel, then return the goods within a further 14 days. Products should be returned unopened, unused and with seals intact where relevant. You normally pay the direct return cost unless the goods are faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied. We will refund the price and the least expensive standard outbound delivery option, subject to the law.
Exceptions
The statutory cancellation right may not apply to products made to your specification or clearly personalised, and may be lost for sealed goods not suitable for return for health-protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed. This may affect personalised wedding favours or opened food and cosmetic products. These exceptions do not remove your rights where goods are faulty, misdescribed or unsafe.
Damaged, faulty or incorrect goods
Inspect your order promptly and contact us as soon as reasonably possible with photographs where helpful. We will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which may include replacement, refund or another remedy depending on the circumstances.
Food safety and allergies
Honey must not be given to infants under 12 months. Infused products contain additional ingredients identified on the product page and label. Customers are responsible for checking ingredient and allergen information before consumption. Contact us before ordering if you require further information.
Gift and wedding-favour orders
Larger, bespoke or personalised orders may require agreed specifications, lead times and payment terms. Because personalised goods may not be resold, cancellation rights can be limited once production has begun.
Meet Your Bees
Meet Your Bees, hive histories and live streams are provided for education and enjoyment. Livestream availability depends on bees, weather, cameras, power, connectivity and third-party services. We do not guarantee uninterrupted footage or that a particular hive will be visible at all times. Public hive stories may be edited to protect apiary security and to remain suitable for customers.
Website content and intellectual property
White House Honey branding, photographs, videos, writing, graphics and original website material may not be copied, republished or commercially exploited without permission, except as allowed by law.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory consumer rights. Subject to that, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed or for business losses incurred by a consumer.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Consumers may also benefit from mandatory protections in the part of the United Kingdom where they live.
