This policy explains cookies and similar technologies used in connection with the White House Honey website.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small files stored on a device. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels and device identifiers. They can support security and essential functions or help a service understand how it is used.
How our website currently uses them
Essential technology
Cloudflare may use essential security or network technology to deliver and protect the website. Essential technology does not require consent where it is strictly necessary to provide the service requested.
QR link and server activity
Meet Your Bees, campaign and ordinary website pages may create server records when opened. These records can include the page, date, source, hive or product context, device category and approximate location. No raw IP address is stored in the Visitor Intelligence database.
YouTube live streams
Hive pages use YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain. YouTube may still use cookies or similar storage when a visitor interacts with or plays an embedded video. That processing is controlled by Google and YouTube.
Online shop
The SumUp online shop is a separate service. When you follow a shop link, SumUp may use cookies for checkout, security, preferences and measurement under its own policies.
Consent
We count aggregate page views without placing a White House Honey analytics cookie. If you choose Allow cookies, we store a temporary consent preference and session identifier in your browser so that we can estimate unique visits and understand journeys between pages. Choosing Essential only prevents that optional session storage.
Managing cookies
You can review, block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may prevent some services from working correctly. Controls for Google, YouTube and SumUp may also be available through those services.
Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy if the website or the technologies it uses change.
